In recent years, the fertilizer market has faced challenging conditions, such as increasing volatility in global markets and sharply rising costs. To continue investing in safety, maintenance, and development at our sites in the future, it is necessary to structurally reduce our costs.
Due to the declining demand for special blends and the significant investments required in the coming years, we have decided to close the Goor location after the season in the third quarter of 2026.
Bagged goods production for the Netherlands will be moved to our Doetinchem site. The production of urea blends and Novurea will be fully transferred to Heerenveen. A social plan has been drawn up for our colleagues in Goor.
