It is important to spread accurately to ensure the quality and yield of the crop. Spreading stripes indicate that parts of the plot have received too much or too little fertilizer. This can result in crop damage, loss of yield or lodging. The optimum spreading setup is therefore important. Below you will find an overview of the spreading charts of the leading fertilizer spreaders.
For additional fertilization, the Vicon spreading charts distinguish between crops that are higher and crops that are lower than 55 centimetres. You can search directly by fertilizer or by fraction distribution and bulk density. Vicon makes no distinction between the hardness of the granule.
Look intoFor the Rauch/Kuhn spreading charts, you enter the machine type and choose either additional fertilization or basic fertilization, working width and type of fertilizer. The menu is in German, but the chart is written in English. It is not possible to search by fertilizer properties.
Look intoIn the case of the Bogballe spreading charts, you can search by type of fertilizer, analysis results, fraction distribution, hardness and bulk density. You can also simply select the chart number if you know which one applies.
