Bagging line for fertilizers
We have 3 bagging lines for all kinds of bagged goods for granulated fertilizers. These bagging lines are operating fully automatic. Filling the bag, palletizing, and putting a seal around the bags is all done by machines. This assures high-quality packaging in a uniform way. On a regular basis our sites get checked by an independent organization to certify we maintain high-quality bagging procedures.
In addition, fertilizers are filled with fertilizers on our 12 filling lines. These bagging lines for fertilizers are spread throughout our sites in Belgium and The Netherlands.
Flexibility in bagging
Our products are mostly delivered in bulk. Depending on customers request we use different types of packaging, for example woven polypropylene bags or polyethylene bags. Bagging up can be done in 20, 25, 40 and 50 kilo and in big bags of 500, 600, 1000 or 1200 kg.
We use bags with our own trademark, but you can also order the fertilizers as a private label complete with your own logo. Our bagging machines can process every type of packaging. To fulfil their specific needs, customers can count on maximum flexibility!

WPP / PE – bags
WPP/PE bags consist of two layers: a strong woven polypropylene (WPP) outer layer and a polyethylene (PE) inner liner. This combination provides both mechanical strength and protection of the product.
The WPP outer layer is highly resistant to tearing and suitable for demanding handling conditions. The PE inner liner forms a sealed barrier against moisture, humidity and UV radiation, ensuring that fertilizers remain dry and maintain their quality throughout storage and transport.
The bags are finished with double stitching, further increasing durability. They are suitable for loose loading in containers without pallets, allowing maximum use of container capacity and efficient manual unloading.
Available in sizes ranging from 25 kg to 50 kg, these bags offer higher strength compared to standard PE bags. A key advantage is loading efficiency: up to 27.5 tonnes can be shipped in a 20 ft container, resulting in lower logistics costs.
Both Triferto-branded and private label packaging options are available.
PE-bags
Polyethylene (PE) bags are strong and light, making it an excellent packaging material for fertilizers. PE-bags can be printed with all kinds of logos, but also transparent bags are an option. Triferto can handle 20, 25 and 50 kg bags. Please contact us to discuss the different possibilities.

Bulk in container
Bulk loading of fertilizers in containers is also possible. Some customers request for this option, and we are happy to offer them this way of shipment. The containers are filled with bulk product using special conveyor belts.
Big bags
Big bags are made from woven polypropylene fabric, giving it the strength that is needed. Inside the bags there is a so-called liner that keeps the moisture away from the product. We use big bags for 500 and 600 kg product, which have 1-loop to lift it up. Next to that, also 1.000 and 1.200 kg big bags are possible that have 4-loops.
