Seferto

Seferto represents the range of Triferto blends with selenium. With Seferto you spread all elements including selenium in one go. The microelement selenium is important to the health of cattle. It boosts their resistance and ensures sound metabolism and productivity. With a good selenium supply you decrease the risk of mastitis and calving issues.

 The fertilised selenium is absorbed by the grass and then taken up by the cow. Another advantage of selenium provision through fertilisation is that animals that receive little or no concentrates take in a sufficient amount of selenium by eating grass or roughage. In short, Seferto also ensures a sound selenium supply with this group of animals.

The target value of selenium in grass is 150-200 mg per kg of dm. In practice this means that approximately 12 gramsof selenium should be spread per hectare per year.
