Trial fields

Research is required to be able to supply a suitable fertiliser. Our fertilisation experts test the fertilisers on our own trial fields everywhere in the country in close partnership with the supplying industry. This ensures that it becomes clear what the impact on plants and the environment is. We test fertilisers on different soil types to determine under which conditions they give the best performance.We share this know-how with our buyers and we translate it into focused fertilisation advice. We also use our experience to develop new and better fertilisers in partnership with the producers of mineral fertiliser. When a fertiliser has proven itself in the trial fields with regard to spreading properties and effect on the soil and plant, it can also start to prove itself in practice.
